Champion Arrow

Back in the day Mithril Champion arrows were made solely by a wood elf and were highly sought after.

I have gone to (my home city of) Greater Faydark where (all 3 of) the lifts do not seem to work properly. The leaver has no reaction. Additionally, your character falls through the lift as if it was an empty floor. Once at the top you are attacked by "a kelethin warrior," I am not sure if this is intentional but this has been my experience.

I have attempted to make a Feir'Dal Fletching Kit in the Greater Faydark forage and the response is "You cannot combine these items in this container type!"

Ultimately, I tried several component combines listed below in collapsible fletching kit & the forge in the GH. I get the same response as before, "You cannot combine these items in this container type!"

My goal is to be able to make Mithril/Blessed Champion arrows. Would this be a possibility?

A large amount of crafting recipes either don't work or don't have the required ingredients in game. The kelethin warriors are part of a custom quest, so they're supposed to be there.

As this is a custom server, rather than one attempting to reflect EQ live, you should expect quite a lot of things to be different.

There are quite a few custom crafting recipes and quite few old recipes do work (kitty's guide is an excellent resource but there are others) but mostly crafting is used for quests here.

A quick way to check if a recipe is possible is to use our webtools and see if all the ingredients exist. Looking at this particular recipe, it doesn't appear there's a recipe link to the container and I'm not sure it can be made.

We can review individual recipes and potentially add or fix them but it's not high priority. Generally, we probably won't do a lot of work to add a recipe if it doesn't add to the game (or if it's just for nostalgia). I'd rather add it and make it a proper item that's useful.

There are better arrows (custom) so this might fall into that category and it doesn't look like a simple fix (like adding an ingredient to a merchant for example). I don't know a lot about this but my guess is specific recipes involving a specific forge isn't supported in the source code. There may be a way to fix this or even create an alternative (can buy the kit but only if you're the right race would be the quickest) but the work needs to be justified (otherwise we might reasonably be asked to fix any and all old recipes )
