Are all of the searchable recipes from a forge capable of being made? I searched for several hours in several zones for vendor sold and common dropable componats with no luck.
I know I could follow the guide for smithing that is posted elsewhere in the forums but I did not feel like boxing and hitting up valor today so I spent my time searching cities and spreading my love through monster filled zones.

Are all of the searchable recipes from a forge capable of being made?

No. Some of the recipes are in from later expansions which are only now beginning to be added to Titanium Emu. A good example, although not for smithing, is the jewelry path using the square cut and round cuts - this is reverse. The items are in, but the recipes are not.

For your inquiry ...

• Banded armors work (merchant buyable)
• Fine Plate armors works (though I would hate to do the skinning farming)
• Enchanted Velium bits works

All the above I have done personally, even if it was briefly (due to the skinning!)

I thought I would give the armor a try but got bored with farming the skins since I kept getting ruined. Couldnt make the frosted armor since I was unable to locate the stuff to make the temper tho I swear I saw it for sell.
Finally made the velium bits and it was actually fun to farm and nice that the finished product was lore so I didnt have to hit auto-inventory or drop the junk. 230ish skill and finished my Vadd's armor
