Rogue has an issue.

Clicks on poison in inventory, it sits you down to apply poison. And says you are applying poison. Then it says "Failed to apply poison" and then you get this:

ERROR Item not found for inventory slot #30 or is not a poison

Poison can be made til the cows come home and I run outta coffee. But it doesn't apply the poison.

Rogue has trained in Apply Poison skill, and the actual Apply Poison is at 85, due to using training skill points.

Rogue's name is Shipii, and is husband's addition to the THF community.

Anyone else has this problem? Never had this before.

I used to apply poisons regularly before leaving. Maybe it is a rev update side effect? I've had this type of error before when the client gets mixed up with what item should be in what slot (at least that is what seems to happen). It also used to happen when I was ripping through tradeskills and switching items out frequently.

If you log in fresh to an already created poison and try to apply it, you shouldn't get the error. Please test this and provide results. If you get the error at that point, there is a larger problem going on in relation to the skill.

Nope, still getting that error.

And now, for some reason, his poison-making skill has gone down to 2 instead of being at
210 last night.

Confusion is reigning supreme.

the skill drop down is prolly due to the NPC who "unlocks" the skills. Need to fix him.

So the skill will return upon a fix, then?

I've taken care of the skill up issue with a new script. Sorry, I failed to forsee this issue for some reason.

it's live in a second. the "lost" skills will have to be manually fixed, so shoot me a tell please.
