Alchemy broken.

Currently, while you are able to attain the skill, you cannot skill up in it, unless you are a Shaman. Using #myskills shows a flat 1, with no chance of skillup. Any way to change/fix this? There are no aa's that allow you to reduce your fail rate on Alchemy either or I wouldn't mind a 50/50 chance at the items.
