spider sinew bag

Alla clone has this bag able to be equipped in range and ammo slots, but im not able to in game. Clone also references a 10% alchemy boost, but again I don't see it in game. Am I right in assuming it would have to be equipped in order to get the bonus? Thanks for any help.
