Elemental Greetings, fellow NostalgEQs

I have been an EQ player (on AB server) for over eight years between 2000-2011 (there were interrupt periods) and quitted definitely EQ live last spring 2011 despite a great guild (D'Pikeys) and very close friends I made online over the years (/wave Conjurous, Wabb...) because I finished getting bored by the ever-struggle for catching up on group and raidprogression.

But I always had a kind of nostalgia about Everquest and I loved my not-so-loved class, the mage. I discovered totally by chance a couple of days ago that there are emu-servers by surfing on the net so I decided to to opt in and landed at your place, the Hidden Forrest My first experience was very funny, I enjoyed the happy and unstressed atmosphere so far. And I even met a former guildie (/wave Rusum) who was very kind and helped me with starting out on your server.

So I just wanted to say hi to the whole community and to thank you all for running this server which gives me the pleasure to play EQ back ! I admit I hesitated between project 1999 for the classical rules and difficulity it brings with them and THF, but for now I enjoy THF and am happy leveling again my mage, I kinda always had the mage-thingy, I know it's weird

I know Wabb and a few other ppl from D'Pikeys. Blademaster, Urgot, (basically everyone who moved from Titans of Saryrn to AB to do a minor guild merge with D'Pikeys back in the days). All very nice ppl and good players. Good old memories! Lillu the rogue from Titans says hi if you would see any of them.

Lillu was that rogue using 2 1hblunt weapon until level 58 when he discovered backstab, around level 61 he found out the hide skill. noone ever saw him since then

And thanks for your kind words Lillu, yes, Pikeys merged long time ago with ToS, I guess Adroxia was one of yours years ago (I arrived later at Pikeys, iirc it was in late OoW or early DoDH era, previously I was in Hands of Doom, SoD's little sister guild). Guess what, she is still raidleader of Pikeys and doing an awesome job. And Wabb is still our most-hatred gnome !
