New Player Starting Up

Hi All,

I just wanted to introduce myself on the forums. I just recently started up after having played on EQMac. I tried to decide between P1999 and THF, and THF has such great custom content and from what I've read through the forums, a really great community. So the choice was easy and here I am

I decided to role a Paladin as my main. Since I'm playing through my Mac I've decided to just one box and am using a Cleric bot. Will this duo be able to level up to 70 without too much trouble? I plan to purchase 1 or 2 donator items in the near future. The Paladin weapon and the shield look pretty awesome. In reading the forums it sounds like the BP/Legs are also huge donator items to consider as well.

If any Mac users need help getting THF setup, please send me a PM. When I have some free time I'll write up a detailed post on it for future Mac users reference.

Level 70 and grinding AA will def not be a problem for any class to reach with or without the help of a bot.
However once you hit lvl 70 it will be hard to handle Group content at first, however since you said you plan to donate it shouldn't be to bad especially if you don't mind to farm some plat and buy also some T8 spells from baz.

Once you at that point or probably before you might want to switch out the Cleric bot for a Rog bot instead.

Achieving level 70 solo is very fast, you might get bored fast if you dont join a guild or start boxing other toons, just something to think about. I started out solo, then rerolled and played another toon to 70. Then I created 2 more toons to level to 70 and box. Then 3 more. Then 3 more. It's addicting.
