New to THF

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone.

I started here late last week and am really loving it.

The custom content is really nice so far and I have a feeling that at level 57 I've barely scratched the surface.

Can't wait to get home and load up and start playing again!

Oh, one question... what is the best client to use?

I'm currently using UF but I'm getting the UI glitch where my health is being reported incorrectly.

Any disadvantages to using SoD or SoF?

SOD/SOF will also have the HP glitch, basically only titanium would not. But UF is SOOOO much nicer than Titanium it isn't even funny.

Stick with UF.

You can use #mystats to see your actual health pool, regen caps, and skill modifiers (ex: double attack %) among other things.

Other than the HP bug not sure what the differences are between clients. I seem to remember a slight performance increase when I moved to UF from Titanium, but it was a few years back.

Titanium is a resource hog, but to the end-user you won't see the HP bug and levitate will work in all of the intended zones.

I use UF, but I sorely miss levitate in zones like DSK and Nadox.

I've seen folks mention levitate issues with UF. But I have used lev without error in DSK (dmf/flight of eagles anyway). Don't think I've tried in nadox.

Perhaps it's a problem with the Steam version? I can have the buff on, but I do not actually levitate. This is confirmed when Xeru and Egg Keeper launch me away into the walls - I've even fallen to my death they launched me so high!

Fairly sure mine was steam based. Very odd.
