Hello People of the Forest,

To reply to Lillu's question, there is perhaps a simple way which avoids making from scratch new pets and implementing a new buff (which means lots of calculations, balance issues etc.).

I had a look on the Wiki at T6 and T9 pets and noticed there are three different lines of pets :

    - Murklglider (T6) and Noc flavored Bazu (T9) have a buff which suits more casters and priests (avoidance, spell reflect, resist spell) ;
    - Feran (T6) and Ukun flavored Bazu (T9) have a buff which suits more tank classes (riposte, parry, dodge) ;
    - Chimera (T6) and Discordling flavored Bazu (T9) have a buff which suits more melee dps classes (dual wield, attack chance, double attack).

If am not mistaken the different pets from the seasonal package all give the same buff which continues the melee dps line of quested pets, the Chimera/Ukun flavored Bazu one (dual wield, attack chance, double attack), and each model of pet has the same stats, only the skin changes.

Wouldn't it be a simple solution to just change the buff of two of the seasonal pets to align with the two missing buff lines to have a perfect symetry and upgrade to the T6 and T9 ones ? One would be a small upgrade to the Murkglider/Noc flavored Bazu line, the other one would be a small upgrade to the Feran/Discordling flavored Bazu line?

There is no need to change the stats of the pets themselves, as they have the same anyhow. No need either to create a new skin, just select two of the package and you, the Gods, would just have to decide the numbers (the Chimera line is +7% T6, +10% T9 +15% seasonal pets, so you have a comparison basis).

Of course, if you want something more specific, you could give to one of the seasonal pets a more classical +heal/+spell damage buff, but that would mean more technical stuff to manage.

The good thing is you can only have one pet/one buff active at a time, so the seasonal package wouldn't become overpowered as you could not stack the buffs, but would allow for more flexibility and would also raise more interest amongst classes which are not pure melee dps.

I was thinking something along these lines. Thank you for the suggestion Adon.
