I get this error when I click play in patcher.

Error in your gui xml files. Check UIErrors.

i downloaded ui files for uf and put in uifiles folder in my eq folder.. appreciate the help.

Heya. Please search for the words gui xml here on the forums. There are many posts and possible solutions about this issue. This sohuld be the search result.

Should it be EQLS_UI.xml or EQLSUI.xml ?

My uifiles\default has eqlsui.xml which is what the patcher put there. Are you using the THF patcher and not the EMU one by chance?

Can try renaming the default folder to default.bak and then running the THF patcher again, it should download a clean uifiles\default folder.

i guess i am using the thf patcher, i changed to default.bak and all it did was download the default folder again and i still get error message.

Where do you have the client installed? Is it in c:\program files (or c:\program files (x86) )?

Try moving it to a folder either on a diffferent drive if you have multiple drives, or to c:\everquest.
