The Hidden Forest

Hi All,

I just started playing last night. Love the server so far. the hidden forest zone (I forget the name) is great. I love the port system.

So back when I used to play (2001) I used to run a monk and shaman together.
I am wondering if that is a viable option here. I didnt run any riad content, I think the hardest thing I did was camp some areas of chardok and kill some roamoing dragons in western wastes.

Would that be a good combo or am I better off learning 2 new classes?
I a not necessarily looking to progress to highest point possible, but would definitely love to get through a lot of the RAID content i had trouble with in Anotnica, Kunark, and Velious.

any thoughts or recommendations are appreciated.

Non raid content you will be fine with those two. If you ask Alloran all you need is a monk.

I think I will need to add more toons so I can do some of the raid content.
Any recommendations ont he most reliable bot?

I tried the pally and was a little disappointed, but maybe that's how the bots are.

Pally bot if you are going to main as Monk or any DPS type class. They do the job fairly well until raid content in which case most bots become mostly useless I think

Pally or warr will be your most helpful at max level. Pally is arguably easier, but it's up to you.
