Buff Stacking and Spell Gem Loadouts
Posted: Thu Oct 29, 2009 3:07 pm
Hoping to start a spell loadout / buff stacking discussion.
I'll start with what I use:
70 Ranger
Spell Gems:
1) Tranquility of the Glade
2) Earthen Shackles
3) Earthen Roots
4) Howl of the Predator
5) Cry of Thunder (anti-summon proc line completely broken)
6) Spirit of Eagle or Feral Form (Outdoors / Indoors)
7) Superior Camouflage
8) Eagle Eye (Is this necessary with max archery and AM2 AA?)
70 Cleric (noob warning)
1) Complete Heal
2) Pious Elixir
3) Pious Remedy
4) Conviction
5) Pacification
6) Unswerving Hammer of Retribution
7) Gate
8) Divine Barrier
59 Shaman (still grinding out Plane of Valor)
1) Plague of Insects
2) Kragg's Mending
3) Blank
4) Blank
5) Invisibility
6) Celerity
7) Talisman of Kragg
8) Gate
Most of these spell choices are specific to the fact that I run all 3 of these characters on 1 computer. I also keep a 70 Warrior Bot in the party he does tend to die sometimes though.
Specific Social Macros:
Both the Cleric and Shaman have /follow Ranger for moving my group around.
Shaman has:
/assist Warrior Bot
/assist off
/cast 1 (Slow)
/cast 1 (Slow)
/g Slowing << %T >>!
Cleric has:
/target Warrior Bot
/cast 1 (CHeal)
/cast 1 (CHeal)
/cast 1 (CHeal)
/g CHEAL <<< %T >>>
Both of those are multi line social macros. The cast is listed multiple times because of fizzles.
Plate Greases of the Helpless is another factor for my setup, instant cast Spirit of the Puma (1 min duration) buff that I cast on the Warrior bot as much as possible, and any other melee dps in my group.
I'm curious as to what buffs people run for level 70 small groups, I only ever played to 65 on magician on Live. Cleric has Conviction and Shaman will have the high end talisman soon. Shaman also casts haste and ranger casts group attack buff. Besides those and getting buffs from the town cleric I'm lost as to maximizing Attack stat on the Ranger? Also for max HP / Defense buffs on the Warrior bot?
Another big weakness is I'm completely lost on my cleric for his own buffs? I only played a cleric on live to like level 32, they're definitely more fun in a 3 char setup then by themselves.
Thanks in advance for any help or additions.
