I can't stand the new models, will run old models forever... curious what others prefer.

Old models 4ever!

It's not that I don't like them though ... I just can't use them due to an old laptop. I can barely run 3 instances of EQ with old models and lowest settings which is why you don't see me running 3 clients - I like running on higher settings with 2 instances :)

If I could, I would probably use new models.

Same as Jerant, Old models & low settings because I cannot run up to 6 clients with my actual computer.

I can go either way really. If I'm 3=boxing then I go with old models, but since I usually get confused when 3-boxing and accidentally end up doing something stupid like making my mage tank I tend to 2-box more, so I can afford to up the settings a bit.

New models ftw (except for the barbarian males, WTH were they thinking when they made that change?!!) since I never run more than 3 instances of eq at a time.
I need a scorecard to keep track of all of my alts!!

My computer can run on any setting, but I've always used original models and always will. The only updated model I've voluntarily used since the change years ago is horse+elementals. That way I can use AoN for skeleton form for use with mounts, without switching any character races to the newer models.

I voted for new models for 2 reasons:

1. Like Desimus said, I prefer the smoother graphics over the cardboard cutout models. They were good back in the day, 10 or so years ago, but even my oldest rig being 5 years old can still handle all the models without a problem. There's no reason for me to use to dinosaur graphics.

2. Some of the older models (especially trolls and ogres) are WAY HUGE. The newer graphics slim these models down so that on raids you don't have your head up some ogre's ass. Also, for us that use smaller screens (like me 15.6 inch laptop) they give us more viewing space.
