Rogue suggestion

Hey is there any way we could implement a line of rouge poisons that bring them in line with THF damage and such? PEQ has the shisshar bite line which wasn't era correct but it helped with damage and allowed the poison AAs to be useful. Currently without a donator weapon the rogue dps falls way behind the monk/bazerker dps when evenly geared. Was just a suggestion to bring there dps closer to each other and fully use the AAs available. thank you !

I second the idea of bringing poisons to THF. It does seem like a waste to have the AA's available without use and from discussions with other players, it seems like something that would be desired among rogues.

Rogue DPS is quite crazy with the donator weapons/chest/legs combination... my concern would be how crazy the dps would be with the poisons :) But still, would be nice (and fun!) to be able to use poisons.

I love rog poison's but honestly i feel rog is quite over powering compared to any other class and may not need any more boosts. That is just me though but i do have most classes with donor gear or some that matter.

Well, truth be told, unless the rogue is extremely well geared on the high end or donor'd up, their dps is kind of mediocre. To a donor'd rogued, a decent poison probably wouldn't even be a noticeably increase. But to a run of the mill average geared rogue, it may make quite a bit of difference. Depending on what would be available.

The problem is folks will jump over any bit of a dps upgrade, so anything that bumps a donor'd rogue further ahead of a donord monk or zerker or what have you, will just make the problem worse. The only way would be for the poisons to not stack with something like say the donor legs click.

I see your points about donor dps and such, but lets look at the non-donor rogue it does indeed fall behind the other two pure melee dps classes. My rogue/zerker/monk are all geared relatively the same and my rogue (8.4k dps) is 3-7k dps behind them. Now I know it would add a small amount of dps to a donor character (In the grand scheme you guys are doing like 1mil dps) but really you guys already destroy stuff so fast does it really even matter? It would be super beneficial to people who are leveling up, and those of use with out massive amounts of donor gear to actually be able to complete some of the content.

Very good idea! Non donored rogues are a pet peeve of mine. Haven't played consistently in a while, but I remember gearing up a rogue in T8 gear and the dps was laughable. Had pets outparsing my rogue who was correctly firing the best combos of discs in burn mode. I always just cried that we needed more backstab damage augs, or weapons with naturally higher backstab damage, which wouldn't necessarily increase donored dps but help bridge the gap, but poison could help boost it as well. Would add a unique wrinkle to the class for damn sure! Maybe make them craftable only from ingredient drops in raid zones, would boost economy. Also, clickable summon poison items from major raid targets :D
