My question is this. Why are the effects on Donator Weapons 1.0 vs 2.0 so different, 2.0 the effects are FAR superior to the 1.0 counterpart. Not only that they are the same price.
I wanted to get a donator weapon for my beastlord and I was going to go with the 2.0 because I get so much more for my money but I think the graphic looks really unflattering, and really kinda lame. I actually feel this way about almost every single 2.0 donor wep with the exceptions being SK and Rog. I may be alone in this thinking but its just my opinion.
Is there any plan in the future to change the effects of the 1.0 to make them more comparable to the 2.0, and is there any way you can offer like a few different graphics for each weapon so your not just stuck with 1 look.
Beastlord 1.0 is easily one of the greatest weapon graphics in the history of EQ and I would love to see them maybe made into a donor version, just an idea because I would buy that instantly.

The graphics thing is my opinion
But the basis of my question is based on facts

Maybe not "FAR" superior but the 2.0 seems a good deal better than the 1.0

For most, the power of the 2.0 is higher, but with a reuse timer that prevents it from being always on, the 1.0s tend to be able to either last longer than the recast, or have no recast and instant effect.

Yep, this.

There is a 1 minute recast delay difference from monk 1.0 to monk 2.0
That is only for the clicky effect I am also talking about worn effects

The 1.0 is 1 minute longer delay that 2.0

The worn effects between the versions of the donor weapons are all obtainable from items in Vex Thal.
