Guild Consilidation

A couple of propositions:

1) would people be interested in consolidating some of our guilds into a more active, group of people so that we can box less and play together?

I wouldn't mind doing that. Would have to check with the other 4 people that play in our current guild.

I don't have to keep my guild tag, or be the leader.. That's no big deal to me. My guild is empty if others want to join in and play.

Maybe yes for The New Order

We are two RL friends with ~20 characters.
~12 just starting T2. The remaining still need to finish Emp key+emp kill.

1, Possom, ranger some gear to T6.. no VP key yet.

We would like to play with others, but we may not want to shred through our Tier content guided by T8/T9 helpers.

have talked to all but 1 in the guild i am in, we are all on board for doing this. Is a new guild going to be formed for everyone to join?

What are the pros?

We could group/raid guild-instance zones (given tier/flag requirements are met)
Guild bank (sharing drop gear, spells)
Guild member Main/Alt identification (we could see what characters people usually main from, or are currently maining?)
Guild member notes?

Cons?
Guild bank size(cant hold wares from more people?)
Not knowing "who" people are.. generally when i see a guild i mostly image all the characters are the same person IRL.. with a blended guild, now wont have that context.
Any spawn timer considerations? Are guild instanced zones being shared by more people going to mean fewer spawns per person?

Hi Everyone,

I’m interested, but also kind of nervous.

I work a weird schedule, so sometimes my only playtime is early morning, other times it’s in the afternoon, either way it’s doubtful that everyone would be meeting to kill stuff at lets say 6am cst.

With that said, I don’t consider myself all that powerful, but alone i can kill all of T8 in a few hours, with a little bit of effort and a few more hours, and some luck I can drop most of dsk3 alone.

If i can do that, what can others do? How do we control these spawns? How do we coordinate these spawn times to accommodate everyone? Couldn’t one person come through with their army, kill everything and ruin the play time of everyone else in the guild. Personally i would be afraid to kill anything at 6am, because i would worry that I had ruined the experience for the guild to do as a group at some point later in the day.

I really wish we just used a expedition system with lockout timers instead of the instance system we use now. That would solve all of these problems and also allow us to do things together without requiring us to be in the same guild.

Any thoughts on how we would control spawn times?
