he was hungry, he's stuck in a forest 24/7 all year round. wouldnt you do the same thing?

I know that Lillu is proud that all his quests are pretty fool proof so most likely you forgot to hail some npc in all the this or something else minor. I'll let him know to check this and get back to you.

I honestly could have just handed it to the mage pet now that I think about it. I know I had the quest updated to that point and I know I handed the blood. But, I am playing in 800x600 and the pet could have got in the way.

Ok, Slapstick guildie just came and handed theirs in with no problem, it appears I handed the dragon blood to the magician pet, may I have it reimbursed?

A few weeks ago I noticed a problem with qglobal and item checks, namely if you turn in items that a certain npc supposed to take, but you don't have the qglobal flag, the npc might eat it. This is due to checking order of qglobals and items. I'll have to review all our 1 billion custom script to see that all set up properly..

so in this case, you either feed your pet, or you had no qglobal flag (missing Hails).

I'll replace the blood, we'll see.

We killed another dragon, I replaced the blood and it worked. So yeah, I did feed to the pet but no need to reimburse.

Yeah, guess the real pro's are getting 2.0 for their pets! or at least trying to... :p
