Raid Instances

So as to not hijack the boxing thread, I thought it would be a good idea to move the discussion.

My thoughts on Raid Instances:

EQ2 has Lockout Timers. How it works is that once you enter an instance your timer begins. As long as someone in your group is still in the zone, you can return to the instance (either by running halfway across the world to get back, or by being ressurected). However, once all the members of your group have left the zone (either by completing the adventure, or the party wiping), you can not enter the zone again until the timer is up.

Perhaps this is what needs to be done? This will ensure that everyone gets their fair shot at a raid mob, and no one character can enter an instance while they have their lockout timer running (even if they are in a group that has people with no lockout timer running).

The system that is soon to be in place is perfectly fine. No need for further adjustments and make it any more complicated or restricted.
