I Changed to SOF client about a week ago seance secret said it be in my best befit. Know for past 3 days I have nothing but problems with longing into the server. I get to the charter select screen and it just Locks up there and crashes. Is it the client or something else. i try everything Default ui. Reset my eq.ini. Out of ideals here. Wird part is sometimes it works just fine other times it chain crashes. Rest of the time I can't even log in. Want i can post my dx log or my eq.ini log

Secrets and I both use SoF without problems. Milein used to also, but haven't seen him lately.

Wondering think the fact i use wineq lite 2.14 effects it or my 45 inc flat screen? running at a 1920 by 1900 resolution. What ip do I need to make sure is not getting blocked. I am thinking my firewall or my peer blocker might be causing the problem.

Just so you know I gone back to titian. But think I found the problem. My g15 keybord when I have SoF install Loads a Profile and its looking for my stat info from the server. Problem I have is How do I keep my g keys working with my g15 keyboard and run the sof client.

another side effect is your resolution. I know I had serious issues crashing when I used a large reso like that. Once I bumped it down to a small res I stoped having issues.

I've found the issues of SoF outweigh the benefits at this point in time. Currently, SoF isn't completely supported yet. There's a LOT of things that still don't work. One benefit I have seen is that with the SoF client, you can create 10 characters as opposed to 8 with the Titanium client. Another benefit is that you can create the half dragon race with SoF (if the server supports it - they didn't look very interesting so I haven't tried it yet). Another is access to SoF zones (I don't know if the server supports them yet). I've gone back to Titanium myself because of UI issues (tough luck for us UI developers), and some things for SoF haven't been included in the Emu code yet, or are still bugged.

Yes the benefits do not out do the cons of right know. Big issue was charges. But they seem to fix most of them. They did miss Liliu rezz stick from chardox it seems. But yes seem the problem was my keyboard and seance I am not willing to give it up I gone back to titanium.
