A mob that multiple entities (whether a player, or a whole guild) are in competition to kill.

Cool thanks :)

Now, I've seen all these different augs for type # and slot #...

What are the different type # and slot # and what do they mean?

This is meant to be a serious question. I know that a type 4 aug goes in a type 4 slot and a type 2 aug goes into a type 2 slot...but what does that mean? What is a type 2 aug? What's a type 8 aug? Are there any other augs besides 2, 4, and 8, and what do they do?

EDIT: OK, I found the information I asked for HERE.

Aug type - is exactly what its sounds like - its a type number.
The types are numbered for the purpose of separating them into common and rare, as well as for item types- like type 4 is only used on weapons, cause type 4 augs may have a proc effect which will not work from say your chest armor.

As far as the list you found- while its good for playing eq on live, will give you little reference here, as THf uses customly designed Augments.
