The Hidden Forest

So I am going to be solo most of the time and I was wondering if this was a good setup for a group. I am going to be playing a berserker with a pally/warr bot and was thinking of a shaman box. If any ideas of one that may be better let me know. I would really like to play the berserker though.

Zerker with Rogue Bot. Shaman Boxed. Make sure you augment with AC, before you get some gear under your character tanking with be a little dicey.

You don't want to rely on a Bot to tank, going with a Rogue bot while having panther from the Shaman will at least double your overall DPS with that setup. Pop a Cleric bot with the Shaman every so often to refresh Spell Haste, it makes a large difference.

If you must box without a tank then I'd still go with the pally bot all the way. Unless zerkers can actually tank named that aren't several levels below them? I'm no expert on them so can't say.

At least with the pally you'd have a good chance of taking on a decent named at the higher end of the game; then it would just be down to whether your DPS is enough to last your shaman's mana.

In a sense you might even be better boxing the tank (certainly this would benefit you at level 70 due to discs) with a cleric bot. My friend plays an SK with a well equiped cleric bot and even without boxing a DPS he can do a fair deal on his own. With your added zerker DPS this would be a much more desirable set up for you.

Cleric bots do get a bad name here but we're still managing with a cleric bot on its own and we're in ToV now; they're very good once focused and well equiped at level 70 (not as good as a box, no, but still).

If you don't mind playing the tank I'd go with that option, myself. Will stretch your solo capabilities way further than playing a shaman with a tank bot, or a rogue bot with no tank.

I am mostly going to be doing LDONs since I can most likely not take a group of 3 into any real end game area. But I have heard the you can run normal LDONs with just a bot.

Why not? If you go slowly... but a cleric might just be as handy, considering they have Paci and you can pull singles.

Cleric bot... you do know that cleric bots can paci targets so it would be possible for you to single pull. this is very helpful if you solo+bot in LDoN.

I believe the command is "#bot target paci"

#bot target calm

Although I guess paci might work.

And yes, cleric calm is more useful than normal player calm. You just have to fire it off twice on a target to ensure it's landed (the bot tells you on the second time if it's worked).
