Air Augs / Timers

Since you are putting in the new PoA augs, and since the avatars are global still, will they be set back to 8 hours and made instanced ? Of will the zone be open all players like Fire is?

PoAir is instance and will stay like that. Avatars respawn time is reduced due to the fact that they are global to every poair instance, so they will stay as they are for now.

I didn't express it well enough, i had just woke up.

What im asking is, since the avatars are popped by wiping out the islands, and to get the drops people are going to wipe out the islands. The respawn is 2 hours if they are not killed. Is anything going to be set up to avoid popping while aug farming since they are global in order to not block guilds interested in avatars.

Maybe it would be wise to add 1 more intermediate mob that spawns when the island is wiped out and the avatar would normally spawn. Have this mob drop no loot and be the last trigger to spawn the avatar. This would allow for aug and loot farming without screwing up the avatar spawn.

Is it possible to just have an NPC pop that you have to hail and ask to spawn the avatars? This NPC could also say if the Avatar has already been spawned and is unavailable (is dynamic text available to also say how long until they can be re popped?)

I still dont understand the question.. clearing an island wont spawn an avatar, need to kill the pre minies for that liek An Elemental Masterpiece too.
There aren't that many guilds in PoAir to worry imo. Also if someone want to cockblock other guilds, he had the chance to do it before too (and I truly belive we dont have guilds with this kind of attitude).

So once again, nothing will change.

btw if you aren't aware of how the Avatat trigger script works, make a search on the forum, it's posted somewhere.

I think the issue being the Avatar trigger mob drops loot that people might want, yet still don't need the Avatars?

I agree, no one is c-blocking each other on purpose. Before the minis pop, you still have to kill the mobs which pop ranging between 4 to 8 different ones. Maybe change their specific loot table to no have any aug parts would help?

Exactly, it's not so much an issue of c*blocking on purpose. But putting some of the best items in the game on the Avatar triggers pretty much guarantees that people are going to kill them whether they plan to kill the avatar or not.

and it's like that for weeks now.. they had the chance to kill the avatar triggers for loot and it wasn't an issue at all till I posted the new aug quest is coming soon. the players capable to kill avatar trigger will kill them as much as they did till now..

I belive that the amount of player capable to kill those mobs and the respawn time is pretty balanced and fair. so honestly, still no idea what you guys are trying to say, but can we get over this conversation and worry if something actually IS a problem? ;)
