The Hidden Forest

Since I've been on the server I've met lots of great players and cool people, have been helped more times than I can count and have enjoyed jokes with even more people than that. We all know it's the greatest server and we all know the main reason for that, besides the awesome development and support from Lillu and the gang, is the players on it.

I thought I'd make this thread to celebrate some of those players and I'd like to start by nominating my own personal Mr THF as Ebon, of Sereas guild. This guy is the most helpful and friendly person I've met on the server (which is saying a lot because there are lots of people like that here) by a million miles. He helped my friends and I gain access to ToV and kept on doing it for about 5-6 days straight for others, too On the day I got my first emp kill, with his help, he had camped the emp all day long until I got home from work, knowing that we were looking for him and that we'd been waiting several days to get our chance. It was never asked of him to do this and this is the sort of outstanding thing he just does on a regular basis.

He is always approachable when asked for advice and his advice is invariably spot on.

Even when he reached a higher level in the game he never stopped helping those below him and while he is not alone in this, he is the stand-out player for it, in my eyes. A great player and a great guy, Ebon is a credit to this server and is probably single-handedly responsible for several people enjoying it as much as they do today.

Sadly, I've not seen him online for several weeks and am not sure if he's just taking a break or on holiday or whether he's just stopped playing. I hope you come back, soon, bro. Cheers.

No, Ive met someone better than that.

Once on my cleric I was trying to get to Emperor Ssra's room for flagging but kept dying over and over and over till to stupid see invis mobs (I played a rogue before on live so wasnt careful going there). I ended up getting helped and CoH'd by this guy and flagged just intime.

Another time then he CoH'd be up to loot a bow off AoW and allowed me to loot the other bits I needed for the 2.0.

Awesome! That was a great read and shout-out. I take befriending seriously, meaning that I practice it constantly. What could be better than running into other people on the server, buff them up, or /tell with current rots? I would like to nominate Nefar. He is my main friend, in-game. Coolest guy I've met yet. Oldschool is another person. Nefar, his alts, myself, and Oldschool were doing HH in Seb last night. Oldschool is lighthearted and a team player. Running with these folks is an evening of fun and enjoyment. I hope to make more friends soon. Thanks for this thread!

Falcore, for the 1000's of solo 1.5 trips and Chardok royal runs he has done for others. By the way, 1000's isn't really an over estimate :p

Only problem though is that he's a nasty Iksar. It's a shame though that I've never met Ebon before I began my THF vacation ... sounds like a great guy!
