I'm new to EQ in general. I'm curious to know what this server is all about? Also, I created a character and I noticed I didn't have to patch anything? How are updates done then? I noticed you folk on this server have custom content.... so how are we patched with the content...

Don't be afraid to ask questions in /ooc. That will broadcast to all of us online. Also there are several guilds out there, including my own, that welcome new players and are always willing to help when possible. Enjoy.

Welcome to the server brother.

Yes always feel free to ask questions in /ooc or out of character. You will get lots of help from many players. There is tons of custom content and you cannot be expected to lean it all in one day, but as said before many players and guilds are more than happy to help you get situated to have a fun game atmosphere.

Read the forums. Many of the questions you will have, have been asked and answered. Check there first and you will save yourself tons of time. Quest guides will also be a huge help for you as you grow in playtime and experience.

Learn the bots, how they work and what to use. Bots can be a great help or a huge disappointment if you aren't familiar with what they can and will do vs what the cannot and or will not do. Remember you can have as many bots as you like but can only have one in your group at a time. The forums are again the best place to look for that info but an on the fly /ooc message will get you pretty good responses and opinions on their abilities. Remember that everyone will have different opinions on good and bad bots

Finally have fun. The game is free. Enjoy your time. If you have questions or concerns or even complaints use the forum as your sounding board as well as private messages to the GM's. In game you can always send me a tell and ask questions as well.

Some reason when I try OOC chat it says I don't have permision.
