Hidden Forest as a "Legends" server

I was wondering if there was a certain criteria that had to be met for the server to be listed under this category? I know its just a listing, but if any server deserved to be listed in the top brackets of EQEmu its this server.

I've gotten to 50 on P99, and having played both this is the far better EQ experience at what it does.

(It was the thread on HF being promoted to a green server on EQEmu that got me wondering this)

Thats very kind of you Kuldiin. Tbh, I think it's decided by a few individuals (mainly Rogean and some PEQ devs?).

Aslo, hard to tell which server is the "best", when you see quality servers with basically 20-30 players online daily, and also totally poor quality servers with 2-300 players (without name :p).

For green status, the requirement was to be around for at least 3+ months being reliable and stable. (being online 95%+)

Popularity != quality != being preferred or legend server.

The question probably should be addressed to eqemu forum anyways.

They use to have criteria for this stuff but IMO look at KMRA, one of the meh servers at best that stays listed at Green.
If you search the old threads on EQEMU you will see what they use to consider the baseline for green/legends and tbh THF exceeds that benchmark.

Thx for the kind words people. We would love to become a Legends server but that won't make our server any better. Maybe even more people would try us, not sure.

I think everyone on the Emu scene is aware of THF and either likes the way we created the Server and how we handle things here (e.g. actually handle and work with the community) or they hate it.

We will continue to try to bring the best and challenging content (and most polished, special thx to Lillu who spends endless hours to work on so many small details) so maybe it's only a matter of time before we move up the Server's ranking list.

Now with Donators done, 2.0 almost done (and 1.5 won't take long to retune according to what we did with 2.0), Class balancing almost done we are finally in a situation where we can say that we have a balanced server without the standard EQEmu class setup and that makes me proud! Tears were shed, fists were shaken but in the end, everyone agreed that something needed to be done.

Everyone can play what class they like without being laughed at for poor Dps/Heals/Nukes etc when applying to a raiding guild. I can continue with VP soon which i put on hold due to the balancing, Vaion is getting close to release Dreadspire, Striat is close to release our new Newb zone and even ChaosSlayer will bring out new Alt-P content in the near future (right Chaos?! )
