AFK script: The 5 ldon point per hour feature from GH and Bazaar are now removed.
First and most important reason behind the removal is to improve server stability and performance. Other than that this feature was pretty neglectable since ldon tokens are out on the market now.

I agree, its nice to show up as having a population but rewarding people for afking in the zones and not actually playing was annoying.

Hmm ... population went from 250+ to 160.

I, for one, don't think the free points hurt anyone, in fact it seemed to encourage some of the people I know to login and hence play, even if they stay AFK after that.

I had some of my alts get free stuff just by "camping free LDoN points" (tm), so I don't see it as a good thing for the points to go away.

This particular situation was heavy on the resources and prone to potential issues. It's one of those things where it may not be a bad thing, but it certainly could be implemented more effectively. While there is no doubt that it stimulated the population, I hope that we can find ways to both improve population while stimulating and motivating the community.

I think feedback for these issues is great! It helps us to evaluate concepts and move forward. In cases where content is pulled because of performance issues, we're certainly more likely to review it and resolve the performance issue rather than to write off the content altogether.

I agree completely.

If this was an issue on performance, so be it ... and let's hope it can be solved otherwise

I was more addressing the comment from Lillu (and others ITT) where he mentions "Other than that this feature was pretty neglectable since ldon tokens are out on the market now.", which I didn't agree with (this is food for another thread, but basically it is almost impossible to find World Bosses up, blah blah blah).

I appreciate you guys having such an open forum that allows everyone to express their opinions, those being pro or against

LOL yeah, a week or so from now we will start getting posts here goig "wtf? where are my LDoN points?! I am bugged!!"
