The Hidden Forest

Alright, I'm coming back to playing after a hiatus, and am trying to decide between rolling an sk or a warrior as my tank. I'll probably get a donator, but am just wondering what would be the better way to go.

I know warrior has better dps, but an sk w/ donator seems very difficult to kill. I want something that will allow me to kill the most content by myself, because I don't really have time to raid much these days. Just wondering what would be the better way to go cause I've watched sk's+donator damn near solo TOV.

The rest of the group will probably be a shaman, cleric, and either a ranger or a mage.

Any input?

I'd recommend warrior, just because with only a 4 box you're going to really struggle on the DPS end. Your fights will take *forever* 4 manning with an sk tank and 2 healers.

Lets not forget that SK's are sissys... Yeah im talking to you Diaylomz

it's true. the only real advantage to SK is ae aggro and yu pay a lot of dps for it.

warrior is always the safer route.

if i were to run a 4box with an sk - id only use 1 heal, honestly tho i find that, while i LOVE warriors - there are plenty of times where i wish i had some True AE threat (cyclone blade/ramp doesnt count) basically it comes down to a playstyle choice imo - if u are confident with the warrior solo go for it, but consider the AE taunts and stuff the Sk (or even pally) would have too.

sometimes it makes me sad that sk/pal tanks better then war, I'am talking about t7 knights here

if you 4 box with a donor tank, i'd go sk / clr / rng / (bard, another rng, or wiz) sk donor is a heck of a clicky heal, on top of cler heals should be good especially if your 2 dps boxes are ranged

Paladin can cast (self-buff proc?) aoe hate with far greater frequency thank SK with current t7 and below spells. As an SK primary this is one aspect of Paladin I envy. Wave heal+cure is pretty sweet for Paladin too.

definately can - but im compareing the ae of a war vs the ae of a sk - sk wins bar none
