was running arround killing some unicorns to epic for warrior. in Greater Faydark i suddenly came up to a brownie scout . hehe back in the old days(99-00) i remember i was running arround lvl 19-20 in Gfaydark , and i ran into a Brownie Scout. killed me instantly , ran arround 7 real life hours trying to get my corpse with items back. remember i got 2 high level chars to come help , a lvl 50 cleric and a 49 ranger . found my corpse , looted it up invis fell of , i died again + the 49 ranger died. in the end i finally got my corpse . but that was scary . hehe. Felt good killing a brownie scout now in a couple of hits.

I remember when I started a friend gave me a full suit of bronze and a FS2HS on my paladin.
He told me if I died I had to get my corpse back or log out and call him because he had spent so much PP on that stuff.
Kind of funny looking back, I died like 200 times that first day and every time my corpse was in a very bad spot.
Ahh the memories of the faydark from 99

I was just telling someone the other day how many times I had been bind-locked and killed while afk until I lost like 10 levels..
Freeport guards, Qeynos guards, then Kunark came out and I bound down in the pot room in Timorous Deep and one day went afk for like an hour and came back to see myself dying. I watched myself die a couple more times before I pulled the plug. When I logged back in, I was level 51 from level 60 =( That was a sad sad day. It took me hours and lots of PP just to get a guy to run out to pot room and rez all my bodies.

As a Paladin, it didn't really bother me that much. But I did help anyone who asked! I am a Paladin, after all.

When I started in 00, I got a few levels then ran to Freeport to get twinked by a friend. So I went exploring and swam under the docks out back and got killed by the shark. When I finally got back to my corpse, I clicked everything, but it was long before auto equip. Once my inventory was full, stuff started hitting the ground. Being a n00b I didn't even know it. So I swam up, low on air, while everything rotted at the bottom of the sea. My friend was pissed that the gear he gave me didn't even last an hour.

Uphill both ways through the Karanas for a corpse run on foot, snared, with no sow.
Or, if you prefer, down hill both ways to Guk for xp and phat lewtz.
My stories are wide and varied as I played on a pvp server and there is just SO much more that can go wrong, intentional or not, when other players are involved. I got started just before Kunark launch. I can say that I was considered a twink as I found a bag of banded gear and a BABS that no one showed up to claim on Rallos shortly after moving there. Then, while all of you were slaving away at the xp grindstone I was getting geared off of people's twinks.

I eventually switched to a Monk and started leveling up, as I could do so gearless and without fear of losing my shinies, though I kept that low level sk in qeynos and warrior in gfay for a long time for sub level 10 pvp hijinks. I later moved to Sullon Zek, and it was a whole new world.
Oh, and me and the boys in the guild used to call finding some one's bind and keeping kos mobs standing on the spot so they lost xp a "bind party". It was a trick reserved for the especially nasty players. I will readily admit to de-leveling some one to the point that they quit the server. Let's just say he deserved it to the point I feel no remorse.
