Old model and Velious armor look

Guys


if you are a real player you are using the old models :P

here is a link to the old velious armor look, and a tips to turn it on.
I hope this help you make your game looks better if you are like me and hate the luclin models.

I think I might be doing this wrong. In my everquest folder I found my eqclient.ini file but there is not loadarmor17-23 to make TRUE. In my actual toons' eqclient.ini file there is. I changed it in one my my toon's and loaded him up through Wineq2 but the velious armor models were not on.

Got any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Find that, change em to false if you like old ugly models. :)

On a side note if you have stuff like Spell Particles turned off in game you could find
SpellParticleOpacity=0.000000

If you turn it all the way down in game it sets it to 0.001 or something and its not actually "off"
Any setting that includes ParticleOpacity in its name I set to all zeros across the board and noticed a slight improvement in boxing.
On PEQ/EZ I box usually 12, but have about 40 characters in total that I can log in all at once.
Tuning the eqclient.ini can only get you so far however. Helps when you have more RAM then most google servers.

Thanks for the reply, Grey! It worked, But I'm still missing how to do the velious helms. Any help there?

Oh man thats a good question. Off the top of my head I think you need the velious graphics turned on and the helm model itself needs to be set.
There are only a couple on THF that show the graphic that I know of.
Maybe one of the staff can pipe in about that.
