Item dupe exploit

A sad story we have to share with our community.

Yesterday we spotted an item duper. The bug was quite serious since the duping can be reproduced with anything that is tradable. Tokens, AA potions, evolving points, festive items, ultra rare illusion items and the list goes on. It looks like the exploit was around for quite long so it's hard to estimate how bad impact it had to our economy. Fortunately, it seems like only a few individuals used the exploit. We are tracking them down now and reviewing logs for violations.

So far, 18 accounts and 30+ characters are involved. Most of them got a permanent ban, and some shared accounts got items deleted. We are still digging through the logs, gathering evidences and contacting players, it just take time. To help us out speed the process up, anyone who knows about any kind of item duping or exploit, this is the time to PM us immediately before we'll contact the person. If we have to PM the exploiter, it's already late for him. Just to reiterate, if you contact us the penalties will be lesser than when we find out ourselves, which we will.

I don't have to explain how disappointed we are since the exploiters were mostly players who been around at THF for a long and were respectable members of our community. I personally can't understand why someone decides to exploit and ruin and waste his (and others) play time instead of reporting a bug that could simply be fixed. These kind of issues take a lot of development time away from us devs too, waste of time.

Again, we kindly ask everyone to report every bugs or exploits you might encounter!

But in every bad thing there's always something good! So the good news is, from now on the economy should work a lot better. Every tradable items should be a lot more valuable, specially the rare ones. We also expect to see a lot less ldon tokens, godly points, etc on the market.
