The Hidden Forest

Having trouble loggin in my characters, 50% of the time I can get to character select and then crash and 40% it crashes at server select. The other 10% I can get them in.

Hmm, could this be related? Is there a way to configure our routers to allow the hidden forest's server port/IP just to rule this possiblity out?

Edit: I did a traceroute as Kilmer suggested in guild earlier, not sure if this helps any (or if this is even the server address), but here it is with the alla clone address, which is also acting up for me.

There has got to be a problem on someone's end, I've having the same exact problems that you guys are and several guildies are also. We all have different isps and live in different locations across the US.

I've tried other servers also and i am yet to have the same connectivity issues that i'm having right now. I either can not log in or once I do log in and zone *boom*....

I've reset my modem & my router and forwarded all ports through my router to my machine. I'm out of ideas and am open to suggestions.

I did a traceroute from Amsterdam and from the us (Washington) and it's all fine from an IP point of view (using Verizon Backbone).

It also works fine from Germany using a different Backbone. The server itself is behaving totally normal for me, so not sure on which's end the problem is.

I didn't have all the problems everyone else did last night, but my tracert shows pretty much the same thing as Jeidos. I always get a brief timeout right after it hits catv.broadband.hu - same results right now as I also had last night.

I traced it too with the same result and had no logon or any other type of problem at all (from 150Kms away from the server).

The timeout on the 2nd last hop doesn't mean there is a connection issue. Obviously pings are going through just fine, so this is more likely an issue with icmp blocking or similar on the 2nd last hop.
