25 mob limit

I searched but couldn't find any discussion around this. If i missed it I'm sorry for the duplicate post.
Is the 25 mob limit still relevant in today's THF? My understanding of the purpose was to prevent players from monopolizing custom zones. Is this still a concern? Is there maybe another way it can be handled? On a per zone basis for example? Can the players be trusted not to abuse the custom zones if this were to be removed entirely?
Maybe this is just my 2cp after being booted to THF as I'm trying to get to the avatars in wind, but in some cases that are not abusive I'd really enjoy not being booted.
If there's some other reason I'm not aware of please help me understand.
