i went link dead about 2 hours ago, when i tried to log back in, THF wasnt on the list, it still isn't now. is it down, or is it me?

It appears down to me as well, but has appeared that way most of the day on this end.

Darn, looks like I'll be getting a good nights sleep for once...

anyone know if they are having problems of some sort? it's now about 6 hours since i lost the ability to log in, so i assume it's been down that long.

Likely that they're just asleep, so bad timing. The server is in the UK (Hungary I believe), so they won't be waking up for a few more hours. it's only 7AM for them atm!

That's 2 totally independant countries.

That's like saying the server is in New York (Washington i believe).

Beside - i can confirm that i cannot connect to it remotely, so Lillu to the rescue. Will send a message.

Server is backup - Lillu will post a reason soonish i guess. My guess is pesky DSL.

yep, isp is the one and only reason why we might get downtime. I explained it a few times already, that we don't have fix ip, and so the isp forces a new dhcp lease every now and then. it seems like the in rare cases the router is having trouble to rebuild the line. guess in time we'll pay for a fix ip, but atm it's not an option. buying the new server hardware was more than what we could afford.

I'm glad to announce a new portal feature tho, the server status/uptime and Who is online feature! You'll be able to see when the server been rebooted and if so changes are live, etc. Credits goes to Petulance! /cheers
