Tradeskills

I'm still a noob to the server n such, but heres a question or 2. Max tradeskills we can get atm in alt-p is about 41ish due to no regular materials available? If this is so, then I assume it would be too hard to get rid of all of the main line recipes when view/searching.
Next question is basicallly - If the above is true.. 1-41ish lvl 1-30(I'm adv lvl 28 atm i think n most stuff is green), skill 40-100 tier2 alt-p?

"If this is so, then I assume it would be too hard to get rid of all of the main line recipes when view/searching. "

I am not exactly sure what is that you are asking...

in the 2nd tier the combines will go up to 60, there will be 3 levels of items:

for example in smithing, there will be

-refined dark ore - trivial at 40 (same as final items in Tier 1)
-bar of dark iron - trivial 50
-actual crafted item - trivial 60

I have allready finished puting in all of the recipes, so you interested, you can start with

http://www.thehiddenforest.org/item.php?id=49621

progress from there, and you can see where is recipes can lead, and which items it interconnects with.

-There will be 24 crafted weapons (12 from each side of the SB faction war, so you can only get access to half of them, basing on which faction side you allied yourself with), about half smithing and half fletching skills

-8 final tailored items (4 different capes and mantle each)

-8 final jeweled augments (basically direct upgrade to previous tier augs) + 2 jeweled range items

And finally 3 final pieces of armor upgrades (chest, legs and arms) will require preparation of some TS materials to obtain them

With 3rd Tier (which will take place in Gunthak), dependency on crafting may become even more severe ;)

I think what I was trying to say was.. :)

This alt-p line feels like I will end up wanting to leave my alt-p main in that line only(not zone it out into main line). I think thats the idea you are goin for, and I'm enjoying it so far. I was referring to the fact that when you search recipes with blank search, you see all recipes, including those that we cant get(or I havn't found) materials for. I like the idea of a new set of recipes, and along with it, a controlled line of skilling up,but was thinkin its a shame we have to see those other recipes on our alt-p characters.

well that depends what are you searching for =)

The key words below should cover all Alt-P items without showing outside items.

In Smithing:
-Cold Iron
-Cold Steel

In Fletching:
-Bronzewood
-Cold Steel (in some cases)

in Tailoring:
-Kobold
-Bat Leather

in Jewelry:
-Dust
-Alchemical

But there is no way of NOT making you see the other recipes in the system.

BTW, The plan is that Alt-P Will take you all way up to level 70, when you will finally exit into "the real world" so to speak with gear not worse that can be obtained in outside line, and few unique items beyond that.

Cool. Thanks for the responses. I figured there was no way to not see the main line items on a basic search. I've been keying in on the key words of the dropped material item.

Doin a great job, thanks n keep it up.
