Right now you can exploit the mechanics of this line. You can take a lvl 1 to several zones with a main, group with them so they get 0 EXP, and deck a toon out in gear well beyond this progression lines limits. Then just zone in and walla, super toon in Chaos line
Might want to close this loophole for intergity sake

well officially its prohibited to use outside items in Alt-P.
However we never really figured out a punishment.
Deletion of such gear when detected could be a suitable option.

What about make it strip every item on the character? it gives you back the charm anyway, so maybe a bag and food/water also ?

Not to mention you can buff the lvl 1 before it ports and pretty much damage shield train your way to 15-20 in 20 min or less that way. Should probably strip all buffs when you do the initial port also.
Since this progression line is in the "Beta" phase I figured this was a good time to bring this up before you open phase 2.

On the character select screen, there's a button that on live would take you to the Tutorial zone. I've seen this button used on other Emu servers to take you to their customized version of Tutorial Cave. You could use this to land them right into the Alt-P zone, not have to worry about them getting into THF and buffed, or armored, or epic'd, or anything that could give them an unfair advantage. Also, you would have to remove the means to get to Alt-P from THF to keep already-created level 1's from slipping in.

That sounds like alot more work then just stripping items/spells on the character when they port over.

me and Lillu currently discussing a special global code which should put an end to any unauthorized cross progression traveling.
