It seems a lot of the conversations you can have with NPCs will suddenly end when they won't respond to the highlighted trigger word. I was talking to someone and they said something about this being a y2k11 bug?
These zones are fantastic and i'm really enjoying them but its kind of a pain not to be able to read any of the quest instructions.

Can you please be a bit more specific? Which npc, at what part did the script broke, etc.

Sure thing, although its very widespread. I'll get you a couple of examples where they respond to hails and give a prompt but don't respond to the prompt. So far i can only give examples from Paineel and Stonebrunt though because i've only gotten that far.

The closest example is Nionaw, the ambassador of Kejek. He responds to hail, but refuses to respond to the prompted phrase "around" even if i try to use it in context.
You say, 'Hail, Nionaw'
Nionaw says, 'Hello stranger! By the looks of you, I can clearly tell you are not from around here.
You say 'around'
<silence>
Theres some other NPCS in paineel that are similar to this. I'll gate there and get you a list.
I have a screenshot but i can't attach it becuase your filesize limitation is 256kb.

Ok, it seems you can click on the purple text and it continues the conversation. However, this method of communicating is not obvious to someone who came from the actual game with its "What problem?" style of conversation.
Perhaps you might want to add this to the tutorial?

Interesting. Nionaw worked perfectly fine to me. I tested all 3 faction state (2 ally and one neutral)

One more thing. These are saylinks, you have to simply click on the link. Typing in the text wont always work.
