The Hidden Forest

Hiya,

I hate to post a problem again but Fikosh won't give me the quest for the shards (to destroy the portal).

I can get him to tell me what to do but nothing will show up in my quest log. I've found the required items and tried giving them to him for no avail...

Thanks for any help anyone can give!

What exactly does he tell you?

Basically I hail him, then we get into the talk of the task and I say the proper stuff...But nothing shows up in my questlog when he's finished with our interaction even though he told me he wants 4x Pulshing chaotic shards (And I found them to...)

Really odd.

Correct, you don't get a quest pop-up. It's an old school quest. If you give him what he's asking for, he'll reply and you can continue to progress.

But when I hand him a pulsing chaotic shard he does not want it...?

EDIT: Could it be that he only wants the spider shards as opposed to the green ones? (They both say pulsing chaotic shard BUT some are blue...)

I let ChaosSlayer figure it out, but afaik he takes what he's asking for.

Hmmm. Now I've found a 3rd time. No wonder he said 4 UNIQUE... Funny cause they weren't dropping before. Makes sense now.

Edit2: Now I can't take on the diamond crusade quest and I can't find titans/giants or any quest for them...Is this because I chose Kejek instead of snowfang?

I'm not sure what I should do at this point.---That should read I'll try his Bro's quest first. (Karn won't speak to me...yet). I've seen pictures of graxxis so he must exist.

Is he in the town with the tunnel? Not sure what the purpose of it is. I've moved rocks and moved past it and seen nothing.

did you finished the 1st task of the Champion in the Paineel? If you did. then you should have a Iron Neckchain of the Champion. If you did, then the npc by SB docks must give you the 2nd quest - first to kill the titans, 2nd to kill Grasxis.

or are you saying you have the quest and can't find any actual titans npcs? (the titans are the huge named animals around SB that spawn randomly every 30 min)
Graxis is in Gloomdeep, spawns every 60 min

Aye, I thought that might be it...Tough to figure out which quest to do first from the merchs!

I saw no mobs roaming SB Mountains.... And am now on the titans quest.

They must be stuck with the other handicapped ones. lol

I may have killed a Xan Zui once though but he was just sitting there... Pretty sure the titans are supposed to move around the zone. Soooooo close to next quest (grax)
