Bard AA's (Instrument Mod or Skill Cap) ?

Was the Bard skill cap thing ever fixed or modified ?
Does the Instrument mod AA's still cause songs to drop to base stats ?

The 2 combo's below caused all songs to drop to base stats with no improvement
(Note: this was 6 months ago atleast)

2.0 equiped with 1.5 which caused all songs to drop to base stats with no increase until i removed 1.5.
The following AA's below + 2.0 also caused songs to drop to base stats.

Also if anyone can answer this for me on the following aa's
( Instrument Mod or Skill Cap Increase ) ?

Instument Mastery
Jam Fest
Singing Mastery
Ayonae's Tutlage
Improved Instrument Mastery
Improved Singing Mastery
Echo of Taelosia

I know my bards selos still drops to being worthless without swapping off gear, have not tested anything else really.

I kept forgetting to check this bug out.

Okay, first, Jam fest increases your caster level which may result in better results for some spells.

All of the others are instrument/singing mods.

Okay, I do have a fix for this. The unfortunate aspect of the fix is that the client hardcaps instrument/singing mod at 45. So, I had to hardcap it serverside. This means, your mod will not go beyond 4.5x ever based on this limitation. The good news is, you no longer have to pull items off. I'll post on eqemu forums as well to see what else someone may can do.

Also, on those aa's, it adds 2 instrument mod per aa level and base instrument mod is 10.

so, im and iim is 2+2. The other 2 aa's are 3 levels. so, 6+6 there.

With the AA+base mod, you'd thn have 16+10, or 26 mod.

Add the 2.0 and you hit the cap.

Ok i know this is a old post but i think it belongs into this thread.
Ok let me start it by saying my Bard has Haydn's Chorus III and usese epic 1.5 while guildie uses same song with epic 2.0 on his bard in theory now if he plays the song you would think that his bard should overwrite my bards song ..... .
Lets go a step further same song with 1.5 heals 172 hp per tick 2.0 heals 172 hp per tick.
After digging this thread out it kinda doomed on me that you already cap the instrument mod once a bard maxes AA's and got his/her 1.5 and actualy can actualy hit the instrument cap after obtaining "Sword of the Lightsinger" wich is a drop in seb.

But correct me if i am wrong
Server cap for instrument mod is = 45
Lvl 70 bard with max AA = 26
Bard Epic 1.5 = 26
Sword of the Lightsinger = 25

26 + 25 = 51

So in other words if a bard has a mod of 26 and you use a item that has a instrument mod of 19 that is enough to hit the cap ?

26 + 19 = 45

I might didn't made much sense with the first sentences of the post but hope i cleared it further down up.
The question now is it possible to increase the server cap somehow or would it be possible to adjust the instrument mods on the other items so its actually harder to hit the cap so early in the game ?

The same question would apply to using epic 1.5 with 2.0, with donators wpn or any other items - do they all stack?

Only the mod for instruments you get via AA + the highest mod on any gear stack.

So once you get the seb sword and have max instrument AA you are capped or in other words if you find a item that has a all instrument mod of 19 you are capped unless something was changed.
