The Hidden Forest

Was in ToV this last evening, and were killing Lord Koi`Doiken.

After we killed him, his dot was ticking so i did what i always do, i cast Radiant Cure 3, which in the past has healed the dot just fine. Well by all apperances it healed it, no debuff on our bars or anything but it was still ticking away, for the full duration.

Not sure if this is an issue with dispells/cures in general or if its an issue with this particular AA, im going to play around with other Cure effects and see if the problem persists.

Maybe you had some other dots on you also that were removed first and the power of RC wasn't enough to remove the Fish dot then.

possible but no away of any other dots from that fight - nor were they showing on my UI. Ive played around with it a bit and maybe its possible that its just an SoD error but on a # of bosses it doesnt seem that its working for me @ all.

it happens frequently with all dots and any cure spell. the icon will be removed but the dmg effects still continue.

if that happens you gotta keep curing until yu see the yadda yadda has been cured message

yeah thats pretty much what i figured just never really had it happen before (that i noticed) until i made this post lol.

This is an emu bug I've seen on other servers, if I remember right the dot counter doesn't match between client and server side spell files and it appears to cure the dot client side (icon goes away) but dot will still drain health. You can still cure it by casting the cure spell again as required until you get rid of all counters

Could also just be one of those visual bugs =/ just keep curing until it goes away

yeah ive kinda of figured that out now - just a little frustrating when i think everyones cured then all my boxes die on me 8) lol.
