I'm considering purchasing a sturdy iron helmet from the adventure merchant for one of my alts and noticed that they do not have the faerune effect on them. Since all (in my limited experience) set piece helmets have this effect, would it be possible to add this effect to adventure merchant helmets? I would then have no reservations upgrading from the Kael helmet! Thanks!

Wasn't there a LDoN Aug that had Faerune on it?

Not that I can find, unless there is one that drops off a hard LDON boss that I dont know of, or if I have just missed it. Searching for augs with faerune in the alla clone just turns up a slew that are defunked.
I guess maybe a type 1 aug dropping in ldons with faerune would work, but seems that would be more difficult than just adding the effect to ldon helmets?
Maybe someone can chime in if I am missing something obvious here (wouldn't be the first time).

I don't see any harm in putting regular faerune on LDON helms. It is already on several less helms such as most of the "chaotic" helms from 30-55 zones such as webtools/items.php?id=2273 and webtools/items.php?id=1802 and KD helms webtools/items.php?id=67719 for example.

Would like to bump this as I think it would certainly make the LDON head pieces a lot more attractive.
Dunno why this thread got forgotten.. was there a decision that wasn't posted about this?
