Hate Plane Trash Mobs Lifetap for 5k?

Just popped up to hate plane tonight for some nostalgic killing with my mid 50's-60 level party. First 5 or so mobs go great until "a loathing lich" comes over and started lifetapping for 5k a pop (sometimes it was 4500). I got the message "You feel your life force drain away, you have taken 4500 points of damage" and in the melee window it said " a loathing lich strikes you for 4500 points of damage." this mob was a blue con to a level 56.

Not sure if this is what you intended. I spent a lot of time in hate plane on live for fun (was my favorite zone! :>) but I won't be able to go back up until I am 70 and everything is green with mobs that do that :/

Th Hate is not a custom THF zone, so no one worked on it to make this way. But considering those were raid mobs, its very well possible, considering Hate was rewamped to MUCH higher difficulty around 2004

as far as i can tell every lifetapping specter taps for 5k. when i last went to oasis for the 1.5 epic mob the specs on the island were.

And I believe the ones in oasis just had that nasty tap nurfed. Maybe for the time being, the hate taps can be tweaked.. that is unless people actually raid there or somethin.

Should be fixed. Removed the Spectre Stun from "THE" Spectre spell list.

Let me know if you encounter any problems. Change is effective as you read this.

I went in there 2 days and only thing killed my tank was that 5k taps

Maybe the fix for this got axed with the recent code change?

What makes you think that? Post exact zone/mob names and i can check their spell lists.

sorry for the necro-posting, but this is also happening in Tower of Frozen Shadows on the Lesser Ice shades. Those guard the gates to the 2nd floor, so it makes it a lil hard to use the zone.
