POV reworked?

Simply I pulled a few mobs, 3 count by accident, midway through fighting them, I started receiving the warning "You are dangerously close to killing yourself". Figured after they were dead it would be alright to proceed, so pulled another mob and was killed on spot. I don't pull big trains in PoV. I run from mob to mob attempting to kill 1 at a time, and by consequence pull extras at times, however i rarely have more than 3 on me. Is it setup to only kill a certain amount in a set amount of time? I do kill them rather fast.
