yeah I realise now that you have taken care of your higher end focuses a long time ago allready, so my suggestion is prabobly a year too late =)
On other hand I just realised a similar, but esier way to do the same thing: you simply rename focus I, II and III into something like 6,7,8, and up levels on them, and then use them in the future whenever you may need, instead of touching any of existing items.
Its just I have this thing, where I hate to see effects sitting in the spell file not doing anything useful =) I like to see all the things "extra polished" =) But thats just me =)
Jeido, no the level caps on LIVE were on focuses from the begining - otherwise there would be no point in having more than 1 tier of them. The focuses were introduced with Luclin expansion. However some time later - when PoP come out, then upped named VT focus items to work up to lev 65, and later with GoD they introduced the "scaling", when focus works for additional 5 levels beyond cap loosing 10% of effect per level.
However I think its more resoneable that a player obtains the focus at the begining of the tier range. So specificly on that type II focus from Guk, its kind of crappy that focus allready fading away by the time you high enough to get the item. But thats just general line of thinking.
Now whenever level caps are actualy working in EMu code is a whole diffirent story =) I was under impression that they were (a simple testing can verify that).
