Any chance of removing the requirement that the yard trash needs to be all dead before the door will open?

Its just a speed bump that is not necessary in my opinion.

Nope it part of the zone that has to be dealt with.

Thoughts on the last boss dropping another key for phase 1? That key would allow the first door to open without the yard trash having to be dead?

Nice idea that would motivate people to attempt (or kill again in my case) those mobs that aren't easy at all I personally have to go back killing them to make leaderboard cleaner since I didn't get the kill update when I did them some months ago, but it would indeed be a true motivation to kill them. Maybe a "rare" drop on them like that key would rock completely.

Clearing the CY is also a good way to find materials for augment and for armor part...

And if the raid force is up to 2 people, it's not that long to clear the CY...

there are enough mobs in the wings of phase 1 and in phase 2/3 with a way faster repop than CY (6min around) to gather materials imho

So is the final word that there will be no shortcuts? I would love to be able to skip the CY and just be able to open the door. Maybe the final mob drops a flag that allows this?

Once one finishes the augs, armor and keys, the CY just serves as a speed bump that does not seem to exist in other zones. I can run right to Chaos, Vistrinda, Xeru, etc.

Another idea is that you have to be in a Vex Thal illusion and then you can unlock the door without killing the CY. But please not that earring in Umbral. That quest is mad boring.

+ 10 to skipping CY !!!

P.S : Almost done with that quest in UP Gald but I fully agree that it's not the fastest I have ever done !
