The Hidden Forest

So maybe we just have not found the right strategy yet, however, it seems that Wizards are useless in VT. So far 6 out of the 6 bosses we have seen have a AE Silence so Wizards just stand there for 90% of the fight. Is this intentional to make wizards cheerleaders or is there a use for them that we should be looking for?

Currently I am planning on benching the wizards and bringing more pet classes since they can at least contribute to DPS. Which is a little sad as I have always loved that class.

A hotfix was going in to remedy some of the silence issues. Not sure when exactly V pushed it though.

Yeah, but I believe that was for silences going through walls, though.

A fix for silences going through walls AND firing off more than intended have been applied. They may take a full reboot, may not. I haven't had time to test both independently to see.

However, you will not want to bench the wizards, they will be your powerhouse for a few events that other classes can't support you in.

Pallies are just as awesome with Silence.

Yeah, that's the first place where I can stand the presence of pallies because something is finally making them silent ! Can't hear them whining over and over so leave things as they are ! Hush holy warriors !

What are paladins? I don't recall seeing any ever...

I'll point out that so far NO class excels in VT. Silence means no clickies, and this particular silence also dispels things like donor leg buffs. It makes for challenging fights, but make no mistake - your melee team will be quite bad too lol.

even pets suck when they get dispelled :p
