Kelethin Lifts?

I have to get into Kelethin for a quest and the lifts do not seem to be functioning properly. When I click in the posts at the base, they do not move even though the button goes up and down. I don't remember how they are supposed to function originally, but they are constantly raised and will not be called down by any of my toons. Thanks in advance for looking into this/info regarding.

Double click the levers.
