Plain of Nightmare - No xp

Hi all,

I just wanted to know if PoN was designed to not give xp?

I've been farming for Shammy 3.0 drop from the Treant, and my characters receive the "you have gained experience" msg, yet my xp bar for both normal and AA xp are not moving / giving any % increase.

To me, the name of the zone suits perfectly well that fact : this is a nightmare Wake up !

P.S : Could be worse though...if you here a song like "One, two, Vaion's coming for you.
Three, four, Better lock your door. Five, six, grab a crucifix. Seven, eight, Gonna stay up late. Nine, ten, Never sleep again...." you can start freaking out Buddy

PoN exp was greatly reduced to make it a non-exp farm zone. It's still giving you exp (hence the message) but it's insignificant.

Thanks for the replies.

I was just worried that something might have been wrong with my client/toons.

As long as it was designed that way, then no problems.

*PS For anyone else reading for shammy 3.0 epic - CoTH / Crimson Bull Orb doesn't work in PoN, as I found out the hard way after 2 days farming Treant, then finally had the drop, only to have my shammy waiting at the zone in. Tried to run my shammy there and the corpse rotted in a few mins when the mob respawned.
