Seems none of the gladiators spawn (including the boss and PH) in tactics. Their room was empty and remained empty for over an hour.

It means we can't complete the Blood Raven quest (no major issue for the other quests but still a hindrance).

Well I got the Blood Raven Quest completed on 25 characters...so it used to work.

We completed it with our first guild but that was a long time ago.

Last night was the first time we entered the zone this time around. There have only been 2-3 zone completions this year (last one in June) and I think it's likely this happened after then but my guess is not many players have been in the zone in the last few months so no one noticed they're gone.

We're not too bothered about the quest completion; I can't actually remember what the name of the boss is in the gladiator rooms, it may not even be on the list (and we may not even bother killing 1000 targets this time around). But the mobs are missing nonetheless

I just finished it on Nilbus a month or so ago? Not sure which you mean by gladiators. Only one I can't remember spawn room for is the overseer or overlord. i know one of them is ph by a_warrior. The others are definitely populated/spawning names/ph.

There's a ph and named in the room where the gladiators spawned. It's likely that named isn't on the kill list so it might be that this has no impact on the Raven quest.

The gladiators are still a part of the spell quest (though not strictly required) and the named has a chance of dropping the essence of war for the zek weapons. For the spell quest we can just kill mages instead but we used to then move on to kill gladiators as well. Having no gladiators means half as many spawns to get the tiny square (and the more named to get the essence of war the better).

I did assume that named was on the list for the Blood Raven quest and if it isn't I stand corrected (happily )

Would still prefer the gladiators to spawn though.

Just had a look and "a substitue" is still in that room (I think that's the PH for the Overlord, which is on the quest list and is also on Alla).

If this is the case, this means the Blood Raven quest is completable (will confirm if/when we see it spawn there). It'd still be nice to have the gladiators for the items related to the spell quest:

As you can see there, no NPC drops either items (looks like they've been deleted from the DB?)

I must have killed that one a long time ago then, I don't recall the room the raven quest giver is in as having trash, but looks like yeah they got removed.

We last did the zone in 2013-2014, the gladiators definitely existed then. So I guess they must have been removed quite a long time ago
