Change of Scenery?

Hello,

I know you guys are hard at work and very busy, but is it possible to give us another zone besides Plane of Valor for good AAexp? 1 solid group can pretty much lock down the upper area Golem, Spider, Crawler area so if someone else wants to AA they either have to settle for less experience or go do something else.

The best idea I can come up with it this point would be to cut the HP on Umbral mobs down to Valor mob levels, and increase the Zone Experience Modifier to match. Then maybe have tailoring type TS drops zone wide like the water in Valor to make the tailors happy, kill two birds with one stone.

I know the goal isn't to make the server easier, and I'm not asking that just asking for more space to stretch out so we can have more then 1 group AA'in at a time, and to bring tailoring in line with the way smithing is at the moment.

I'd love to see this happen. A sort of "hot zone" if you will, like live tried to do. Even if the difficulty were to stay the same for example.. fire mobs yielding more exp since they take three times as long to kill as valor but yield the same or a little less experience. Like Rer said im sure it's not a priority but it would certainly be nice to see another zone have appeal when AA'ing.

PoFire is actually 4x XP/AAXP, whereas PoV is 3. Also, in PoFire you can gear up in a full set of 300 HP armor which used to only be possible via raiding. You guys should really try to take some time farming it, the loot is superb. Jerant can do any tradeskill combines you may be qualified to do yourselves.

Moving back to the XP though, I think it's about right. Maybe the mobs could lose 1/3 of their health so that they have double the HP of PoV mobs rather than triple, but even if not the fact that it has the tier 1 raid quality loot makes it very well worth the effort.

Maybe just a slight tweak to the re spawn on Valor mobs, obviously people are going to go to the best place to AA grind when you need around 200 AA on tanks to raid and 100+ on other characters.

Currently the top part of valor can only support 1 group due to re spawn rate, I guess tweaking the re spawn time would be the easiest solution. But, I was also trying to get tailors some love, they really struggle to get their skill up when the blacksmithing is like here's 2000 water go get 255.

I had no problems at all with tailoring drops and I think Bresh would also agree with me (I have 280 something and he has 300) ... I personally believe you are mistaken if you believe that you should get both the best xp rate and the best drop rate in a single zone such as what valor has become. By the way, you guys should also be easily able to xp in Icewell now. I find that xp to be a smidge faster even and you can still get tailoring drops.

Getting blacksmithing up right now is too easy in my opinion.

We won't open any new zones for now. Entire focus is on LDON. That will give everyone plenty of new zones.

The respawn rate in upper POV has already been upped (or cut down actually, you know what i mean :)).

Blacksmithing is much easier now, but rememebr the water is used in a lot more than just Blacksmithing. I am reluctant to ask for a change when it takes hundreds of waters to get the skillups needed in each tradeskill. The water is useful in Pottery, Blacksmithing, and Brewing. I spent 2 days farming about 1k waters to get my skillups in Fletching and Pottery, and I need at least that many more to master them. ;-)

As for tailloring increases you might want to check out making Arctic Wyvern Hide armor for skillups. The materials are readily available.
