certain things in ToV that doesn't make any sense

1.) slippery surface - is there a reason for this? Can this be removed... I mean it's more of an annoyance than part of the challenge fighting dragons

2.) rooted dragons - this doesn't make any sense to me... how can certain dragons be rooted and most aren't? What is the lore/reason behind it?

I know, my questions seem to be silly... but it just doesn't make any sense to me lol.

1) part of zone structure to make you slip, and anciently pull something you did not intend too ;) cannot be removed, But Levitation helps

2) Lore has nothing to do with it. This could needed as part of boss positioning so he cannot be pulled elsewhere ON PURPOSE. I am NOT familiar with specifics, but its usually a main reason. Tyler would probably answer a question why specific dragons are perma-rooted.

Can't levitate in ToV =p, and they were perma-rooted on live so Tyler probably just didn't change it.

Rooted so you cannot just move their little dragons butts somewhere where their AE didn't hurt you.

there still plenty of ways to avoid AE of the rooted ToV dragons.

if the intention is to prevent such a tactic the zone needs to be relooked at.

Personally I think that ToV is fine. Yes there are some places for casters to hide from AEs. Yes there are some slippery surfaces that are annoying. Dragons have been rooted for a long time for a variety of reasons including to stop intentional training, to stop pulling certain dragons away from their lairs.

Bottom line though is that the zone has been working fine for a year, countless people have worked through the zone. There are really no gameplay problems with ToV.
